California Common Cause, the Asian Law Caucus, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area run a nonpartisan poll monitoring program every election, and they need volunteers across Southern California for Tuesday, November 3.
As a poll monitor you’ll visit 3 to 5 polling places over a 4-hour shift, fill out a short questionnaire at each one, and help make sure voters aren’t being harassed or intimidated. They provide the training and send you a poll monitor package in the mail.
- Oct. 3–14 — required 90-minute Zoom training (pick one session)
- Oct. 13 — last day to sign up, and spots are limited
