DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of Ventura County and the Ojai Valley Woman’s Club present Pros & Cons\, the League’s nonpartisan walk through the statewide ballot measures. \n\n\n\nPros & Cons is the League’s oldest and plainest format: for each measure\, what it does\, the case for\, and the case against\, with no recommendation attached. There are 14 statewide measures on the November 3 ballot\, several of which interact with each other\, so an hour with someone walking through them is worth more than reading the voter guide cold. \n\n\n\nNote that this is separate from the League’s published recommendations. Pros & Cons takes no side; the recommendations are where the League says how it would vote. \n\n
